Our goal is to create naturalness, comfort and beauty

EFF, spol. s r.o. was founded in 2000 and exactly four years later it continued with the opening of the first factory for the production of atypical furniture in Uherský Brod. In 2006, it expanded its operations with a subsidiary company, EEM, s.r.o., which deals with the production and assembly of stainless steel locksmith products for interiors and banking technology.

It was not only the requirements of the banking institutes that prompted EFF to further develop its production in 2008. An 800 m² production hall was built, equipped with modern and efficient technology, which, in addition to banking furniture, specialises in the production of hotel and restaurant furniture, interior solutions for shopping centres, modern office buildings, medical practices and other premises, including private residences.

We cooperate with leading Czech and Slovak architects, designers and leaders in the field of providing comprehensive services in furnishing commercial interiors from various materials in Central and Eastern Europe. We work with wood, metal, glass, faux stone, upholstery and other materials. We regularly invest in the latest technologies and plan further investments in production preparation for the innovation of 2D and 3D modeling software technologies with a goal that has guided us for almost a quarter of a century: to create naturalness, comfort and beauty.

Company profile and history

EFF, s. r. o. is a strong and experienced partner that builds on its history and has gained prestige on the basis of quality services for customers mainly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Russia.


Our identity grows out of a region where the knowledge of wood as a material and how to work it has been passed down from father to son for generations. In the pure forests of the White Carpathian Mountains grows the raw material that we use to transform your home into a pleasant and welcoming place.

The history of furniture production in the area of Folk Art in Uherský Brod dates back to the 1950s. The woodworking cooperative established a modern furniture section at that time. In 2000, EFF, with respect for tradition, started the production of atypical furniture of European standard at the same place. EFF has completely upgraded its production facilities from the ground up and introduced environmentally friendly technologies.

The symbiosis of classic and honest craftsmanship combined with state-of-the-art technology and creative inventiveness ensures EFF’s high competitiveness on the domestic and foreign markets.

EFF has managed to win prestigious contracts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as in Russia. Our clients include major banking houses, financial institutions, international companies and governmental organizations. EFF designers work closely with first-class architects and designers. The furniture section deals with small and large series production of atypical furniture with high demands on quality and workmanship. The metalworking department has become a major supplier of banking equipment to Russian banking houses.

Own production hall

We grew out of the craft tradition of our region. More than sixty years of history combined with the latest technology puts us at the top of European production. We are firmly anchored in a region that is known for its quality wood raw materials and where craftsmanship has been handed down from father to son for generations. Production takes place on site in our own production halls.
